There’s a large choice of restaurants in Malcesine with most serving the usual Italian fare. The first thing you’ll notice about though is that they begin to fill up early and start emptying around 10pm. If you’re feeling lucky have a wander around and find a menu you like the look of. We found three really fantastic restaurants for our evening meals namely Ristorante al Gondoliere, Vidoc and Casa Italia. Al Gondoliere is set in the middle of town, up a set of stairs looking overlooking Piazza Vittorio Emanuele square. Vidoc is situated in a narrow street with a few outdoor tables, whilst Casa Italia nestles on Piazza Magenta overlooking the lakeside. Take a look at the reviews here on tripadvisor.
